Glocomms is partnered with a leading FMCG organisation in Europe seeking a highly skilled and hands-on Senior Salesforce Developer with deep expertise in Consumer Goods Cloud (CG Cloud). This is a contract role embedded within the client’s digital transformation programme, focused on delivering next-generation retail execution and field sales solutions across European markets.
You’ll lead the technical delivery of Salesforce CG Cloud implementations, working closely with business stakeholders, architects, and cross-functional teams to build scalable, high-impact solutions.

This is a contract role embedded within the client’s digital transformation programme, focused on delivering next-generation retail execution and field sales solutions across European markets.
You’ll lead the technical delivery of Salesforce CG Cloud implementations, working closely with business stakeholders, architects, and cross-functional teams to build scalable, high-impact solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as the senior developer and technical lead for Salesforce CG Cloud initiatives, mentoring junior developers and ensuring best practices.
- Design and implement scalable solutions using Apex, LWC, and Salesforce platform tools tailored to FMCG field sales and retail execution.
- Collaborate with business teams across Europe to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
- Develop and integrate key components such as visit planning, retail execution, inventory management, and promotional tracking.
- Lead code reviews, enforce development standards, and ensure high-quality, maintainable code.
- Troubleshoot and resolve platform issues, ensuring system stability and performance.
- Work in Agile teams, managing sprint deliverables and aligning with product owners and solution architects.
Technical Requirements:
- 6+ years of Salesforce development experience, with at least 2+ years in Consumer Goods Cloud.
- Strong command of Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), SOQL, and Salesforce DX.
- Proven experience integrating Salesforce with external systems (REST/SOAP APIs, middleware).
- Familiarity with Retail Execution, Visit Management, and Field Sales processes in FMCG.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines, Git, and automated testing frameworks.
- Salesforce certifications (e.g., Platform Developer II, Consumer Goods Cloud Consultant) are highly desirable.
Domain Experience:
- Prior experience working with FMCG or CPG clients is essential.
- Strong understanding of European retail and distribution models.
- Experience with multi-country Salesforce rollouts and localisation challenges.
Leadership & Interpersonal Requirements:
- 3+ years in a senior or lead developer role, guiding teams and managing technical delivery.
- Excellent communication skills – able to engage with business stakeholders, product owners, and technical teams.
- Strong problem-solving mindset and ability to work under pressure in fast-paced environments.
- Collaborative, agile mindset with a focus on continuous improvement.
Academic & Professional Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
- Strong academic background and a passion for learning and innovation.
